Vases and bud vases from an Atlanta flower shop

The vase collection is the vessel half of the equation: ceramic, glass and chrome, from three dollar pots and bud vases up to compotes big enough for a full arrangement. It is stocked by florists rather than a homeware buyer, which mostly means the openings are the right width for actual stems.

Bud vases for one good stem

Bud vases start at a few dollars and do more work than their size suggests. A row of them down a table beats one large centrepiece for a dinner, they are the cheapest way to make a single stem look deliberate, and they are the standard rescue for the last three flowers of a bouquet that is otherwise done.

Ceramic, glass and chrome

Clear glass cylinders disappear and let the stems do the talking. Ceramic pots and terracotta hold their own in a room and suit dried arrangements. Chrome and coloured glass are the ones people buy when the vessel is meant to be seen. Compotes sit low and wide, which is what most full arrangements actually want.

Pair one with flowers, or bring your own

Add a vase to a wrapped bouquet order and the two arrive together for local Atlanta delivery, or collect both at 4511 Olde Perimeter Way, Suite 600, inside Ashford Lane, open 9am to 5pm daily. You are also welcome to bring your own vase into the shop and have us build straight into it.

Questions, answered

How much do the vases cost?

They start at $3 for small pots and bud vases and rise from there through cylinders, compotes and larger vessels.

Can I bring my own vase to the shop?

Yes. Bring a vessel in and our designers will build into it.

Do wrapped bouquets come with a vase?

No. Wrapped bouquets are hand tied in twine, tissue and paper, so add a vase here if the recipient needs one.

Which vase suits a dried arrangement?

Ceramic and terracotta vessels suit dried stems well, since no water is involved and the vessel is doing part of the visual work.
